Heads of Omsk companies know why Chinese enterprises enter the Russian market

EICC-Omsk Region functioning on base of Omsk Regional Fund For Small Business Support and Development organized a seminar «Practice of working with China» for small and medium-sized enterprises of the Omsk region at the expense of the Fund on 17-18 February 2014.
Expert: Konstantin Savkin is a professional expert consultant on the organization of business with China and to attract investment from China, the author of over 15 articles on the line of business with China, published in professional journals, on average, annually about 40 seminars.
During the seminar Omsk entrepreneurs learned the basic principles of successful cooperation with Chinese partners.
Konstantin Savkin spoke about new possibilities and current trends for doing business in China, current trends and prospects of development of foreign trade activities of Russia and China.
The expert answered the following questions: Why do Chinese companies enter the Russian market and how it is beneficial for Russian business? Why Russian businesses to work with China directly: direct supply, location of production? What's more profitable to buy and placed on production in China?
Konstantin Savkin gave some examples of work Western and Russian companies with China.
After that, workshop was held: «The relevance of the organization of business with China» in which the Omsk companies have learned about business etiquette when working with Chinese partners, the Chinese mentality, the rules establish business contacts with Chinese companies, correspondence and telephone conversations.
During the seminar, Omsk entrepreneurs learned about the differences in working with European and Chinese suppliers, features exports to China, the formation of Chinese goods prices: how much goods in Russia? Learn how to find products and manufacturers in China? How to organize direct deliveries?
Konstantin spoke about the main sources to find information about Chinese manufacturers, like exhibitions in China, the choice of the Chinese manufacturer, the factors that need to pay attention when choosing a provider, analyze the conditions of supply and comparison of proposals from different suppliers, the basic rules of vendor selection, testing the reliability of the potential partner.
At the conclusion of the seminar the entrepreneurs decided case on «Algorithm relationships with consulting companies».
According to head of EICC - Omsk region, Ekaterina Ishchenko:
- Heads of Omsk companies were satisfied. We have received feedback that showed us how  much depends on the lecturer. Entrepreneurs received useful information from the activities to experts, practitioners in the field, which I hope will be used to establish business cooperation with companies in China.
